Community Involvement

The Builders Association of Northern Nevada strives to be a positive influence in Northern Nevada, and continuously seeks new ways to improve the quality of life within our community. If you would like to request a donation from The Builders, please fill out this application and return it to us at least 6 weeks prior to any advertising deadlines.

Community Involvement

• Truckee Meadows Community College scholarship program for our members, their staff, and their families
• Scholarship program for students attending UNR, TMCC, or WNCC and pursuing a degree in a building related field
• Partner in Education with Pine Middle School
• Fund-raisers benefiting local agencies
• Creation and support of a construction charter high school (Academy for Career Education) to encourage industry careers
• Wellness programs for association members & their families

Charitable Giving

The Builders Association of Northern Nevada created the Builders Association Charity (BAC), its philanthropic arm, in 1998. Designated by the IRS as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, BAC has been serving northern Nevada families who have experienced a catastrophic illness or situation. Your donations to BAC are tax deductible - consult your tax advisor. BAC extends an invitation to get involved by giving BACk to our community in a number of ways:

• Volunteer for or sponsor one of BAC's fundraisers
• Donate cash or personal property to BAC
• Contribute building materials, products or supplies to the BAC Resource Bank
• Give "in-kind" gifts for a fundraising event
• Create annuities or trusts naming BAC as beneficiary, or add BAC to your will
• Consider our "Pass Through" program to make donations to other charitable organizations through BAC
• Become a "Partner in Philanthropy" and assist BAC through your sales or profits
